“Let’s start with a quick overview.
The Aether project is an AI training and evaluation project.
In simple terms… your role is to evaluate AI responses… compare outputs… and help improve the quality of AI systems.
It’s a work-from-home opportunity… and you get paid based on the tasks you complete.
Hourly rate varies according to country or region and falls in 5 USD – 25 USD per hour range.
The tasks are evaluated on Multi Mango platform.
Tasks on the Multimango platform are typically assigned by major AI data annotation and crowdsourcing companies that use it as a client-side interface for their remote workforce.
The main companies currently giving tasks on Multimango in English include:
• TELUS International or TELUS Digital : Primarily uses Multimango for Project Sonic. They often use it alongside their own time-tracking tool, FTS Studio.
• Outlier of Scale AI: Frequently invites contributors to work on projects like Project Aether through the Multimango interface.
• RWS: Utilizes the platform for Project Diamond and other AI training tasks.

But to start working… you must first clear an entry-level qualification exam.”

Many people apply… but a large percentage get rejected.
And the biggest reason… is not lack of skill…

The instructions can be tricky… the evaluation criteria are not obvious… and many people rush without proper preparation.

There are 4 types of tasks yu will get in exam.
Furniture removal :
The selected removal image must: Remove all movable furniture completely, Preserve structural elements like walls, floors, windows, built-ins
Your reconstruction prompt must: Accurately describe the original furniture, Include type, quantity, placement, and distinguishing details, Be specific enough to recreate the original layout.
sketch-to-photorealistic
In this task, you will evaluate AI-generated photorealistic images created from sketch inputs. Your role is to ensure that the generated image accurately reflects the original sketch and subject while appearing as a real photograph, not an illustration or render. The goal is to select the most realistic, faithful photorealistic output that preserves the subject, structure, and intent of the original sketch without introducing unnatural artifacts or distortions.
Annotation
In this Task, you’ll need to find high-resolution images (1080p+) full-screen screenshots and draw bounding boxes on every interactable element.
Conversations-to-response :
In this task, you will evaluate how effectively AI models respond to complex, multi-turn requests that may involve text, images, and video.

This is not a speed test.
You are being evaluated on how accurately you judge the responses.

You need to write explanations for choices… Not necessarily lengthy
make sure they are correct… and well thought out.”
Clear… logical reasoning… makes a big difference.”

One of the biggest mistakes… is inconsistency.
If your answers show random thinking… it reduces your chances of passing.
Stick to one clear approach.”
